Conferences
The section “Conferences” is composed of 2 sections
SOCIETALogy is a management science and as with all management sciences, it provides a systematic and analytical approach to decision-making.
In addition, it allows us to use two theoretical models. These two models are a:
-
-
-
-
- Balanced society.
- Competent citizen.
-
-
-
By using SOCIETALogy it is possible to evaluate the performance of our societies by evaluating the various management processes used to help us reduce the level of conflict and increase our quality of life.
If they are efficient, they create a balanced society, which is one that facilitates the:
-
-
-
-
-
- Development as well as the social and societal integration of our fellow citizens,
- Development and the functioning of our governments,
- Development and the functioning of our societies.
-
-
-
-
SOCIETALogy can also be used to evaluate the performance of citizens to see if they possess the necessary knowledge and the necessary skills to play their role as citizens efficiently.
So it’s a question of assessing whether we are competent towards :
-
-
-
-
-
-
-
-
-
-
- Themselves (personal competence).
- Others (social competence).
- their collectivities, thus their societies (societal competence).
-

-
Here are just a few of the topics we can cover:
|
|
Naturally, the topics overlap, as one of the aims of the conferences is always to make the link between governance and our actions as citizens, including civic professionals, in order to promote citizens ethics.
By doing so, we improve our citizen footprint and we improve our governmental footprint.
Reducing our Citizen Footprint
Since societies are only the results of our individual, group and collective actions, the more competent we are, the better our societies will be.
In order to help us become competent citizens and contribute to the creation and maintenance of a balanced society, the Institute offers conferences designed to help us better understand what makes a citizen a competent citizen.
They enable us to identify the knowledge and skills we need to be competent towards:
-
-
-
-
-
-
- Ourselves (personal competence)
- Others (social competence )
- Our collectivity (societal Competence)
-
-
-

-
Acquiring this knowledge and these skills facilitate
These skills enable us to improve our citizen footprint.
Reducing Governmental Footprints
The better our societies, the better our citizens. If you are a civic professional (elected officials, public leaders and administrators, civil servants, etc.) The Institute offers conferences designed to help you reach the proficient or the expert level and thus contribute to the creation and maintenance of a balanced society.
Acquiring this knowledge and these skills leads them to propose laws, regulations, rules and management processes that facilitate:
which improves the government’s footprint.
